Pecihitam.org<\/strong> – Dalam artikel sebelumnya dijelaskan tentang tradisi upacara peringatan hari kematian yang merupakan salah satu bentuk dari pengaruh kebudayaan Islam Champa yang dilestarikan oleh kaum muslim di Nusantara.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kemudian, dalam artikel ini akan mengulas salah satu bentuk pengaruh lain dari tradisi keislaman Champa yakni tentang penamaan nama-nama makhluk halus dan nama-nama panggilan untuk keluarga dalam tradisi muslim Nusantara, khususnya Jawa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nama-nama Makhluk\nHalus <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Menurut\nbuadayawan Nahdlatul Ulama\u2019 (NU), Agus Sunyoto dalam bukunya Atlas Walisongo\n(2017)<\/em> menjelaskan bahwa masuknya\nkepercayaan muslim Champa dalam tradisi keagamaan muslim di Nusantara,\nkhususnya di Jawa, ternyata diikuti pula oleh masuknya kepercayaan terhadap\nmakhluk-makhluk gaib dan takhayul Champa yang berkaitan dengan keberadaan\nmakhluk-makhluk halus yang diyakini hidup di sekitar dunia manusia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kepercayaan\nkaum muslim di Nusantara yang dipengaruhi oleh tradisi keislaman Champa tampak\ndari penyebutan nama-nama makhluk halus yang berkaitan dengan Islam. Misalnya; pocong,\njin muslim, jim,setan, genderuwo, wewe gombel, kuntilanak, kemamang, tuyul,\nkalap, siluman, <\/em>hantu penunggu dan arwah penasaran.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Penamaan terhadap tersebut berbeda dengan kebiasaan penamaan makhluk halus dalam lingkungan Kerajaan Majapahit. Menurut Sedyawati (1994) menjelaskan bahwa makhluk halus dalam orang-orang majapahit disebut sebagai makhluk setengah dewa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adapun penamaannya meliputi; yaksha, raksasa, pisaca, pretasura, gandharwa, bhuta, khinnara, widhyadara, mahakala, nandiswara, caturasra, rahyangta rumuhun, sirangbasaring wanua, sang mangdyan kahyangan <\/em>dan sang magawai kedhaton <\/em>(Sunyoto, 2017).<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Penamaan nama\nmakhluk halus dalam tradisi Majapahit tersebut sangat berbeda dengan bagaimana\nkaum muslim di Nusantra memberikan penamaan terhadap makhluk halus. Penamaan\ntersebut ternyata lebih dekat dengan tradisi keislaman dari Champa, Vietnam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Menurut Agus\nSunyoto (2017) bahwa di dalam proses penyebaran kepercayaan terhadap makhluk\nhalus itu, orang-orang di Nusantara terpengaruh juga oleh kepercayaan\ntahayul-tahayul khas Chmpa seperti percaya terhadap hitungan suara tokek,\nkesurupan, ilmu sihir, ilmu hitam, tabu mengambil padi di lumbung pada malam\nhari, menyebut harimau dengan sebutan \u201ceyang\u201d, dan lain sebagaiannya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Menurutnya bahwa\nproses asimiliasi dan adopsi bahasa ini dilakukan di pesantren-pesantren dan\nkomunitas-komunitas masyarakat muslim di pesisir. Namun dalam prosesnya\nmenyebar hingga ke wilayah pedalaman Jawa yang kemudian itu dikaitkan dengan\ninstitusi keraton sebagai titik sentralnya. Hingga akhirnya justru asimilasi\ndan adopsi bahasa tersebut menjadi sangat berkembang dalam masyarakat wilayah\npedalaman Jawa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nama Panggilan untuk\nKeluarga<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Selain penamaan\nterhadap nama-nama mahluk halus, tradisi keislaman Champa juga memengaruhi\npenamaan terhadap nama panggilan. Sebelumnya, dalam tradisi Majapahit bahwa\npanggilan untuk ibu adalah \u201cina\u201d, \u201cra-ina\u201d, dan \u201cibu\u201d. Nah kemudian,\norang-orang Champa memanggil ibunya dengan sebutan \u201cmak\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Diperkirakan\nbahwa cara panggilan model Champa ini mula-mula menyebar melalui wilayah\npesisir. Yakni melalui tokoh-tokoh penyebar Islam yang memiliki asal-usul\nChampa yakni Sunan Ampel dan Ali Murtadho. Kemudian, panggilan \u201cmak\u201d ini\nkemudian diteruskan oleh para tokoh penyebar Islam lain di wilayah pesisir\nJawa, yakni Sunan Bonang, Sunan Drajat, Sunan Giri, Sunan Kudus dan Raden\nPatah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bahkan\nperubahan nama panggilan kepada keluarga itu juga terjadi untuk memanggil\nkakak. Dalam tradisi Majapahit, seorang kakak dipanggil dengan nama \u201craka\u201d.\nKemudian berubah dengan sebutan \u201ckak\u201d atau \u201ckang\u201d sebagaimana tradisi panggilan\nuntuk kakak dalam tradisi Champa, Vietnam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Demikianlah\nberbagai warisan kebudayaan dari tradisi keislaman Champa yang kemudian\ndilestarikan dalam masyarakat Islam di Nusantara. Barangkali, berbagai pengaruh\nkebudayaan tersebut jika tidak diungkap dalam penelusuran kesejarahan akan\nbanyak di antara kita yang tidak tahu tentang asal-usulnya.
