Terjemahan<\/strong>: <\/strong>Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Isma’il] berkata, telah menceritakan kepadaku [Malik] dari [Makhramah bin Sulaiman] dari [Kuraib] mantan budak Ibnu ‘Abbas, bahwa [‘Abdullah bin ‘Abbas] mengabarkan kepadanya, bahwa ia pada suatu malam pernah bermalam di rumah Maimunah, isteri Nabi shallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam, dan bibinya dari pihak ibu. Katanya, “Aku berbaring di sisi bantal sementara Nabi shallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam dan isterinya berbaring pada bagian panjang (tengahnya). Rasulullah shallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam lalu tidur hingga pada tengah malam, atau kurang sedikit, atau lewat sedikit, beliau bangun dan duduk sambil mengusap sisa-sisa kantuk yang ada di wajahnya dengan tangan. Beliau kemudian membaca sepuluh ayat terakhir dari Surah Ali ‘Imran. Kemudian berdiri menuju tempat wudlu, beliau lalu berwudlu dengan memperbagus wudlunya, lalu shalat.” Ibnu ‘Abbas berkata, “Maka akupun ikut dan melakukan sebagaimana yang beliau lakukan, aku lalu berdiri di sampingnya. Beliau kemudian meletakkan tangan kanannya di kepalaku seraya memegang telingaku hingga menggeserku ke sebelah kanannya. Kemudian beliau shalat dua rakaat, kemudian dua rakaat, kemudian dua rakaat, kemudian dua rakaat, kemudian witir. Setelah itu beliau tidur berbaring hingga tukang adzan mendatanginya, beliau lalu berdiri dan shalat dua rakaat ringan, kemudian keluar untuk menunaikan shalat Subuh.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ibnu Baththal dengan orang-orang yang sependapat dengannya berkata, “Dalam hadits ini terdapat bantahan bagi mereka yang tidak menyukai membaca Al Qur’ an tanpa berwudhu, sebab beliau membaca ayat-ayat tersebut bangun tidur tanpa berwudhu terlebih dahulu.” Akan tetapi perkataan ini dibantah oleh Ibnu Munir dan lainnya, dimana mereka mengatakan, “Pendapat di atas berdasarkan bahwa tidur Nabi juga membatalkan wudhu, padahal kenyataannya tidak demikian. Karena beliau SAW bersabda, \u062a\u064e\u0646\u064e\u0627\u0645 \u0639\u064e\u064a\u0652\u0646\u064e\u0627\u064a\u064e \u0648\u064e\u0644\u064e\u0627 \u064a\u064e\u0646\u064e\u0627\u0645 \u0642\u064e\u0644\u0652\u0628\u0650\u064a<\/strong> (Kedua mataku tertidur namun hatiku senantiasa terjaga<\/em>). Adapun tindakan beliau berwudhu setelah bangun tidur, ada kemungkinan hal itu hanyalah untuk memperbaharui wudhu saja atau karena beliau berhadats.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aku (lbnu Hajar) katakan, “Ini merupakan bantahan yang baik bila dihadapkan kepada perkataan Ibnu Baththal yang beralasan dengan perbuatan Nabi SAW yang tidak berwudhu setelah bangun tidur, sebab tidak ada kejelasan dalam hal ini apakah terjadi hadats pada diri beliau saat tidur. Tetapi karena beliau berwudhu saat bangun tidur, maka indikasi terkuat yang dapat kita pahami dari perbuatan ini adalah beliau berhadats. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tidak adanya kemestian bahwa tidurya Rasulullah tidak membatalkan wudhu, maka tidak terjadi pula hal-hal yang membatalkan wudhu pada saat beliau tidur. Hanya saja yang menjadi keistimewaan beliau, bahwa bila terjadi pada dirinya sesuatu yang membatalkan wudhu niscaya beliau menyadarinya, berbeda dengan manusia pada umumnya. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adapun klaim yang mereka kemukakan bahwa perbuatan Nabi tersebut hanyalah untuk memperbaharui wudhu ataupun karena sebab-sebab lain, pada dasamya adalah sesuatu yang tidak ada.” Pada pembahasan terdahulu telah dikemukakan pandangan Al lsma’ili yang mirip dengan apa yang dikatakan Ibnu Munir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kemungkinan terkuat mengenai hubungan hadits ini dengan judul bab adalah apabila seseorang berbaring bersama istrinya di tempat tidur, maka sudah dapat dipastikan akan bersentuhan dengan kulit istrinya. Kesimpulan ini mungkin dapat ditarik dari perkataan Ibnu Abbas, “Akupun berdiri dan melakukan seperti apa yang beliau lakukan … “<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Imam Bukhari tidak memaksudkan bahwa tidur Nabi dapat membatalkan wudhu, sebab di akhir hadits ini, seperti yang beliau nukil di bab “Berlaku ringan dalam berwudhu”, beliau menyebutkan perkataan Ibnu Abbas, “Kemudian beliau berbaring dan tidur hingga mendengkur, setelah itu beliau shalat<\/em>.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dalam Al Halabiyat<\/em> oleh As-Subki setelah mencantumkan bantahan Al Isma’ili- disebutkan, “Ada kemungkinan Imam Bukhari beralasan dengan perbuatan Ibnu Abbas yang beliau lakukan di hadapan nabi, atau berbaringnya nabi dengan istrinya serta persentuhan diantara keduanya dapat membatalkan wudhu.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Saya (katakan), “Dari hadits ini dapat dipahami makna hadats pada judul bab ini, yakni khusus hadats keeil. Sebab jika yang dimaksud adalah hadats besar, tentu beliau tidak hanya berwudhu, tapi beliau akan mandi sebelum melakukan shalat.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
